Stainless steel
Famous material for its durability, it can also get tarnished due to daily use, and exposure to elements. Thanks to its higher amount of chromium, it is more resistant to corrosion compared to other materials we use in our accessories.
• Can be shined with soft-bristled brush and with soap & water. Rinse & dry with soft cloth;
• Another option is with small amount of plain white toothpaste & soft-bristled brush. Rinse & dry with soft cloth.
• Baking soda & water option – Make a paste with 2 spoons of baking soda with 1 spoon of water. Gently rub on the material with a soft-bristled brush. Rinse & dry with soft cloth.
• Or use stainless steel product cleaner then follow corresponding instructions.

Brass
• Shine with lemon & salt: Mix 1 spoon of lemon with salt to make a liquid-almost-paste solution & gently rub it on the brass material. Let it sit for 30 minutes then wipe away the solution with a damp cloth. Buff with microfiber cloth.
• Or with baking soda and white vinegar: Create a paste with a spoon of baking soda + ¼ spoon of vinegar, wait for the fizzle to stop & gently rub the paste on the brass, let it sit for no longer than 30 minutes to avoid dulling the brass. Wipe away the solution with a damp cloth. Buff with microfiber cloth.
• Or a brass cleaning product then follow corresponding instructions.

Zamak
Its name is the German acronym for the materials that make up the alloy: Zink (Zinc), Aluminum (Aluminum), Magnesium (Magnesium) and Kupfer (copper).
